Welcome to Local Candidate Coach
This is your go-to site for first-time candidates running in small, local-district races. Here you receive the tools to conduct smart, efficient political campaigns for the least money.
Meet the Coach
My name is Mike Noblet (pronounced No-BLAY),
the Local Candidate Coach, and, like you, I’ve
been a first-time candidate. But when I ran for
local office the first time, little formal help and
advice existed for candidates like me other than
costly professional consulting. My campaign
budget was slim to say the least, so enlisting
professional advice was out. Despite it, I won my first race through sheer grit and determination, not to mention the help of dedicated volunteers.
I do remember wishing for a guide to help me with the many decisions I faced. Had one existed, I would have saved a lot of effort, time, and money instead of learning as I went. And I would have cut through hype from those selling politically-related products and services and purchased only what benefited my campaign, not their bottom lines.
From winning local races, managing more than a few campaigns, and advising local district candidates, I learned what works and what doesn’t. My strong desire to share my knowledge with others underpinned the formation of Local Candidate Coach, your guide to the smart, efficient path to Election Day.
